DODA, July 28: Jammu and Kashmir Mission Lok Adhikaar (JKMLA) has demanded probe into the MGNREGA scam of several crores of rupees in Rural Development Department (RDD) blocks of Sub Divisions Gandoh and Thathri.
Addressing a press conference, Dr Amar Chand Bhagat, President, JKMLA said that there is a huge scam of several crores in the RDD blocks of Sub Divisions Gandoh and Thathri and a probe should be conducted. He appealed to the Governor Satya Pal Malik to order probe in this regard so that guilty will be taken to task.
He said that their Ex-MLA has failed to address the genuine demands of the public, adding that the leaders are contesting elections just to become crorepatis and not to redress the genuine demands of the public.
Dr Bhagat has appealed to the people of Bhaderwah constituency to change their mindset and do not fall prey to the false and baseless promises of these politicians who show affections and kindness during and before elections.
Among others present were Mohammad Latif, Shugafta Kousar, Mulkh Raj, Dara Singh, Abdul Majeed and Baldev Singh.
