JAMMU, Apr 29: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation (JKMEF) Jammu today stressed upon the conducting DPC of all categories of posts in health department.
In a meeting of the Association held under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan (State president, JKMEF), all the speakers strongly condemned the deliberately delaying of DPC (Promotion) by Director Health Services Jammu.
“In this COVID -19 pandemic situation all the staff of health department is fighting this infectious virus with best of their capacity but instead of appreciation by the higher authorities all categories of health staff are deprived of their genuine service benefits,” they said.
They said as the Government Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Jammu is declared designated COVID hospital, the health staff discharging their duties there may be provided accommodations at par with their counter parts of Medical College Jammu as done previously as the health staff doing COVID duties cannot go to their respective homes and infect their family members.
The speakers also urged the UT Government to release 50 lakhs insurance benefits to front line warriors who laid down their life during duties.
