JKLTF demands release of pending salaries of SSA teachers

JAMMU, Dec 19: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers’ Federation (JKLTF) today demanded the Government to release the salaries of SSA teachers that are pending for last six months.
The issue was discussed during a meeting of the Federation held here today at Bhalwal under the chairmanship of JKLTF president, Mohan Singh Rakwal. The members of the Federation criticized the State Government for not releasing the salaries of SSA teachers for last six months and demanded that their pending salary be released immediately.
They further said that teachers working under RMSA, SSA and NPS schemes are not getting salaries regularly. “Moreover, service book records of the Teacher/Master working in the Zone has not been completed by the concerned ZEO”, the members said.
The speakers further informed the meeting that GP fund statements of the teachers have not been issued for last 10 years and teachers working has not been confirmed even after the order issued by Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ).
While speaking on the occasion, Rakwal said that matter will be brought into the notice of DSEJ and all the issues of the teachers working in the zone will be sorted out within a short span of time.
