JAMMU, Dec 19: RS Pura police nabbed a criminal and recovered sharp edged weapon (toka) from his possession.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from RS Pura police station laid a naka at Satriyan Morh and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BA-4144.
During checking, police recovered sharp edged weapon (toka) from the possession of the motorcyclist and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Roshan Lal, son of Bachan Lal, a resident of Sidher RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 189/16 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered against the accused at police station RS Pura and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura Inspector Bhushan Manhas and Assisted by ASI Kalyan Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
