JKGTF holds meet at Bishnah

JAMMU, Sept 10: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum was held at Bishnah today under the chairmanship of Amarnath Thakur State chairman JKGTF and in presence of other State body leaders who included Satish Dutta, State president, Parveen Singh, State general secretary, Provincial president Rahul Singh Sambyal and Vijay Kumar Sharma district president Jammu.
In his address Amarnath Thakur said that JKGTF is a conglomerate in which from ReT teachers to lecturers are its members and its main objective is the unity of all cadres of teaching community. He said the organization is working for the welfare of teaching community.
Satish Dutta said that entire teaching community is one and untied on all issues. He said it will extend full support to State Government to its policies which are launched for the welfare of Education Department and students in particular.
Parveen Singh said that his organization will not compromise on the issues which are against the teaching community. He demanded that the salaries of teachers working under RAMSA be released immediately.
The meeting elected Ashok Pandey as Zonal president Bishnah. Jugal Kishore was elected as general secretary, Randhir Singh and Joginder Singh as vice presidents, Ajay Narayana as secretary, Sham Lal, Vikram Khajuria, Pawan Kumar, Subash Chander, Kishore Kumar, Romesh Kumar, Anil Kumar, Ram Saroop, Ashwani, Prem Paul, Puran Sharma and Romal Kumar were elected as Zonal body members.
