JAMMU, Oct 7:  J&K Govt Employees Joint Action Committee-R has strongly criticized Minister for  Finance who is also Chairman of the Cabinet Sub Committee, looking into the issues of the employees for his `controversial’ statement on the pending demands of State employees.
In a meeting of the JKEJAC held today under the presidium of Shakeel Ahmed Kuchey, Balwan Singh Jamwal, Parshotam Sharma, Babu Hussain Malik,  Madan Sangral and others the speakers strongly condemned the statement of  Finance Minister which appeared in the section of press regarding issues of the employees. They alleged that Mr Rather has tried to mislead the public and befool over 4.5 lakh employees of the State.
They claimed that Mr Rather has projected in the media that only the issue of retirement age is pending while others have been resolved, is totally misleading and far from the truth. They pointed out that the issue of the pay anomalies, regularization of daily wagers/ consolidated/ casual workers , Public Sector Undertakings have remained unresolved.  The Government has breached its agreement made with the employees representatives  and despite seeking time from the employees, they only tried to befool over 4.5 employees and its leaders and project wrong picture before the public.
They unanimously passed a resolution seeking immediate implementation of the agreement and release of all the detained employees. The cadre also appealed all the employees leaders to get united and come under single platform      for their common cause.
