JAMMU, June 5: A delegation of J&K Electric Employees Union (JKEEU) led by its provincial president Krishan Singh Jamwal called on Divisional Chairman DPC and Chief Engineer EM&RE, Ajay Gupta here, today and demanded that the problems of the power employees be redressed regarding which the directives were also issued by Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh on whom the delegation of Union had called yesterday.
The other members of deputation included M K Tikoo chief advisor of the Union, Qazi Ghulam Mohammed Tantray, its chairman, Pran Koul, general secretary, Sanjay Sharma, provincial secretary, Babu Ram Sharma, senior vice president and Ajay Anand vice president.
The delegation demanded implementation of SRO 59 of 1990 which has been already implemented in Kashmir Valley, compliance of Court judgment in SWP No 699/98, transfer policy in PDD, allotment of designation as per assignment of work, amendment in SRO 381 of 1981 and Vigilance clearance of the promotee employees.
The chairman DPC assured the delegation that all the pending demands will be considered which were projected by the Union headed by Abdul Salam Rapuri and Krishan Singh Jamwal its Jammu province president.
