JAMMU, Apr 14: The J&K Board of School Education has withdrawn the concessions and relaxations due to Covid-19 pandemic, given in BOSE examinations for classes 10th, 11th and 12th , to be conducted in Annual/Bi-Annual (Private) session 2021-22 in Kashmir and Winter Zone areas of Jammu/ Ladakh and onwards thereof.
According to a notification in this regard, all the concessions and relaxations given to the students previously due to Covid-19 pandemic, for sitting in various Board examinations are withdrawn and the exams shall be conducted as per the actual scheme of examinations, without any relaxation of whatsoever nature.
However, this order shall not be applicable for the ongoing BOSE examinations in Summer Zone. To avoid any confusion among the students, a clarification in this regard was also issued by Director Academics, Dr Farooq Ahmad Peer.
“The notification relating to withdrawal of concessions/ relaxations shall be applicable for the examinations to be conducted in Annual/Bi-annual (Private) session 2021-22 in Kashmir Division/Winter Zone area of Jammu Division/Ladakh and onwards thereof,” reads the clarification.
