JAMMU, Jan 17: Chairman J&K Bank (JKB) Rajesh Kumar Chhibber today inaugurated a start up under the name and style ‘The Dental Hub’ at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
While inaugurating the start up, Chhibber said it is a unique initiative by leading dental surgeons as this start up will not only generate employment, impart learning to dental graduates and postgraduates but also provide free treatment to BPL patients.
The Dental Hub will provide first of its kind learning activities for dental graduates and post graduates to sharpen their skills and learn advancements in the field of dentistry as the center includes specialist doctors of all specialities and nationally acclaimed visiting specialists. Advanced orientation and simulation centers are housed inside the center for live demonstrations and working by the learners.
Principal, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College, Dr Rakesh K Gupta, who is also a member of the Dental Council of India, also attended the event. He said that the center will create employment for many unemployed dental graduates. He appealed the J&K Bank Chairman to provide some loan benefits and schemes to the unemployed dentists of the region so that they can serve the people.
Eminent doctors who attended the event include Dr Ritesh Gupta (Registrar, J&K State Dental Council), Dr Satvinder Singh, Dr Bhanu Kotwal, Dr Mandeep kaur, Dr Imtiaz Malik, Dr Sharad Kharyal, Dr Neetika Chibber and Dr Ana Gupta.
