JAMMU, Jan 19: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) led by its president Dr Surinder Radotra met Commissioner Secretary APD Asgar Samoon and Director Agriculture Jammu Dr SS Jamwal.
The delegation demanded that all the agricultural technocrats should be regularized and appointed as Village Agriculture Extension Asstt.
They apprised Samoon and Dr Jamwal that the list of 441 Jammu based Agriculture Technocrats is still pending, thus denying the equi-proportional benefits vide decision of J&K High Court Jammu and Kashmir order under LPA 20/2014 dated 23 June 2014.
The association demanded publication of list of first phase candidates, which were to be regularized from April 1, 2014, with all financial benefits as mentioned in the Cabinet order No 235 AGRI 2011.
Samoon and Dr SS Jamwal gave patient hearing to the issues raised by JKATA members and assured early redressal.
They also assured that all the ReZ working with the Agriculture Production Department with continuous service of 84 months will be regularized as per Cabinet decision.
Among others present were Dr Maneet Singh, vice president, Dr Jyoti Chib, general secretary, Dr Sarbjeet Singh, Dr Vinod Sharma, Chairman, Dr Amit Gupta, senior press secretary, Dr Shakeel Qazi, Dr Mohammad Anwar, etc.
