CAHD deputation lodges protest over selective transfers with DHS Jammu

JAMMU, Jan 19: A deputation of Clerical Association Health Department (CAHD), Jammu Province, today met Director Health Services (DHS), Jammu and submitted a memorandum lodging their strong protest against the recent selective transfers of some ministerial staff.
Alleging that recent transfer order of some ministerial staff, who happened to be the office bearers or main port folio holders of the CAHD, Jammu Province, has been made under some pressure, the deputation appealed the Director to revoke it.
The deputation further appealed the Director not to make selective transfers and instead adopt a uniform policy for all the categories while making any transfer.
The director assured the deputation that no injustice will be done with the clerical cadre.
The deputation comprised members from Joint Consultative Committee, Medical Employees Federation (O), All J&K Non-Gazetted Economics and Statistics Employees Association, Health Employees Welfare Association and Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Association.
Thereafter, a meeting of CAHD, Jammu Province was held which was also attended by members of the deputation. In the meeting, it was decided that some time will be given to the administration to relook into the matter and to fulfill their assurances, and then after a week’s time, the deputation will meet again DHS, Jammu to review the progress made in the assurances given by the administration.
Meanwhile, the CAHD unanimously decided to merge it with Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Association and announcement in this regard was made by senior vice-president of the association.
