RAJOURI, May 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) took out a car/ jeep rally today spanning from Manyal (Thammandi) to Rajouri and passing through Azmatabad, Alal, Shahdra Sharief, and finally culminating in Rajouri.
The rally saw enthusiastic participation from supporters and party members, showcasing their unity and determination for the upcoming elections. Zaffar Manhas, the contesting candidate for the Anantnag-Poonch-Rajouri Parliamentary seat, delivered a compelling address to the gathered crowd.
Emphasizing the theme of development Manhas urged voters to support JKAP for a brighter and more prosperous future for the region. Joining Manhas on the stage were prominent BJP senior leader Abdul Qayoom Mir, DDC Thannamandi. The rally of JKAP also attended by Owais Bukhari, son of Altaf Bukhari founder patron of JKAP and Advocate Ahsan Mirza, Mumtaz Khan Seth.
They reinforced the message of development and progress, highlighting the BJP’s support for JKAP in this electoral bid. The leaders collectively stressed the importance of choosing a Government dedicated to infrastructure, education, and economic growth The time has come for a change, for a focus on development that truly benefits the people of our region,” said Zaffar Manhas.
Meanwhile, Manhas assured that the issue of two tunnel construct at Peer Ki Gali and Dera Ki Gali on historic Mughal Road would be taken-up forcefully by the Party candidate, if he gets elected to the Lok Sabha from the Rajouri – Anantnag seat and the Party would stand firm to fulfill the promises made with the people regarding promotion of tourism, border tourism, exploring possibility of generating employment at the local level. He also assured that if he gets elected to the Parliament, he will leave no stone unturned to get a separate Parliamentary seat for Rajouri – Poonch and Hill Development Council on the pattern of Ladakh for overall development of the Region.
As the rally concluded in Rajouri, the atmosphere was charged with optimism and determination, with supporters chanting slogans and expressing their readiness to vote for development and a better future.
Meanwhile, Provincial president Manjit Singh addressed another election rally in Nowshera area and later joined car/jeep rally of Manhas from Thanna to Rajouri.
