JAMMU, June 28: JK Against Corruption (JKAC) has appealed Revenue Minister, Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari, to suspend all corrupt officials in the department.
Addressing a press conference, chairman, JKAC, Vikram Singh along with Sanjeev Sharma, district president, Jammu Urban and Tarseem Manhas, district president, Jammu Rural, said that strict action should be taken against those corrupt Revenue officials, who instead of performing their duty honestly are helping the land grabbers in one way or other to grab State land.
Singh said that such corrupt officials who are getting salary from the Government and working for land grabbers for their petty interests, should be terminate immediately to give so that no other employee dare to help any land grabber.
Rajan Gupta, executive member of JKAC, appealed Revenue Minister to suspend all the revenue officials who failed to protect Government land from the encroachers.
