JKAACL presents colourful cultural programme at concluding day of MTMP

JAMMU, Dec 6: J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages presented a colourful cultural programme at the concluding day of My Town My Pride Program at Gulshan ground, Jammu besides Book Exhibition of Academy publications.
The cultural presentation showcased the ethos of Dogra Culture through the traditional Dogri folk dance and singing form Geetru and Dogri , Punjabi songs by young local artists. Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha visited the various stalls installed by different departments. He visited the book exhibition installed by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages and had a look at various publications of the Academy.
Shubham Banerjee the young talent of the soil enthralled the audience with his Dogri and Punjabi singing along with the group of mucsicians. The special attraction of the program was Dogri folk Geetru presented by Om Parkash and group. The entire cultural program was done under the able guidance and efforts of Bharat Singh Manhas, Secretary JKAACL and was coordinated by Dr. Shahnawaz and Anil Tickoo. The cultural bonanza by JKAACL emphasises to preserve and promote traditional music, dance, arts and language of Duggar land Jammu.
