JKAACL organizes Kashmiri folk music, dance event

JAMMU, Feb 12: J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) here today organized a Kashmiri folk music and dance event.
Suresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary, Department of Culture was chief guest while Bharat Singh Manhas, Secretary JKAACL was guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest congratulated Samooh group for its contribution towards the promotion of Theatre.
Bharat Singh lauded the performance of artists.
Schools bags were also given to the children by the chief guest.
Anita Chandpuri, general secretary Samooh group also spoke on the occasion while Ravinder Sharma, Director Samooh managed stage setting and Rohit Bains choreographed the event.
Dr. Kamal Sharma, president Samooh presented vote of thanks.
Kamal Chandpuri, media incharge, handled the backstage affairs of the event.
Artists who performed in the event were Daizy Bhat, Raj Dulari Koul, Jai Kishori Kaw, Usha Amla, Babita Bhat, Urmila Kanth, Picha Bhat, Raj Kumari Pandita, Tosha Bhat, Meenakshi Handoo, Fancy Koul, Reena Pandita, Kiran Raina, Asha Koul, Sushma Pandita, Nishu Pandita, Chandra Sharma, Anjali Suri, Prem Lata, Kiran Raina, Simran, Neetra, Dimple Asha Dhar, Shivi Dhar, Shashi Bala, Amarjeet Kour, Pinky, Dolly, Anjali Raina, Sunita, Shikha Pandita, Diya Pandita, Komal Bhat, Sanchi Koul, Mannat Bali, Manvi Pandit, Shagun Koul, Khushboo Razdan and Neelam.
