J&K woman in top five of Mrs India World Wide Contest

JAMMU, Oct 21: Jammu and Kashmir woman Samreen Kaur Hansi brought laurels to the State by being into the top five finalists of Mrs India World Wide Contest.
Hansi, daughter of Prof Hempal Singh, a resident of Singhpura, Baramulla, Kashmir was born on June 17, 1973. Passionate about fashion, she participated in various events and won prizes.
Wife of Colonel HPS Hansi, Samreen is having two teenager children, with elder daughter being in college.
Samreen was Miss Jammu in 1994 and after twenty years now she has again brought laurels to the State by coming in first five finalists in the Mrs India World Wide Contest in which women from all over the globe participated.
Mrs India Worldwide contest was held on October 20, 2014 in which 30 selected contestants participated. These contestants were shortlisted after preliminary rounds in which hundreds of women auditioned.
Samreen Kaur Hansi of Jammu and Kashmir was shortlisted in final five contestants.
It is the true recognition of power to make the dream come true and celebration of motherhood with age being no limitation. The general public would have the opportunity of witnessing the telecast with the help of number of entertainment channels covering the event.
