JK sets up pavilion at India International Trade Fair

NEW DELHI, Nov 14: Director Handicrafts Inderjeet today inaugurated J&K pavilion at the 39th India International Trade Fair (IITF) to showcase achievements registered under handicrafts and handloom sectors.
Officials, artisans, representatives of societies, NGOs and functionaries of Department of Handicraft and Handloom were present on the occasion.
Rural artisans and a number of Government Departments have set up their stalls displaying varied products for promotion and sale. High quality products including shawls, carpets, paper machie, Basholi painting, saffron and honey are available in the J&K Pavilion.
While interacting with the artisans, the Director Handicrafts urged the participants to ensure that only genuine products of J&K are displayed during the Exhibition, which will continue upto November 27th 2019.
