JAMMU : District administration has imposed Section 144 ahead of counting process in mountainous Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
District Magistrate Ramban Farooq Ahmad Shah today in exercise of powers vested in him under Section 144 CrPC, imposed restriction on movement and assembling of general public beyond Maitra Chowk up to District Administration Complex for December 23 from 0700 hrs till completion of counting process and announcement of results,” official spokesman here said.
He said that the order shall not apply to counting staff, static observers, contesting candidates and their counting agents besides staff of SSP and DC offices. (AGENCIES)
