JAMMU: Observing that National Education Policy-2020 could be effectively implemented if institutions were given freedom to redefine teaching positions as per need, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Monday advocated for empowering youth through the Policy.
Giving suggestions for effective implementation of National Education Policy in Transforming Higher Education across the Country while speaking at Governor’s Conference on Role of NEP-2020 in Transforming Higher Education, Mr Sinha underlined the importance of integrated development of children and further suggested that extra-curricular activities such as NSS, NCC, Sports, Music, etc. need to be made part of the curriculum and students should get a credit of these activities.
