J&K ITCO organises workshop on capacity building

UDHAMPUR, Mar 10: One day workshop on capacity building on uses of Consultancy Services for Ministries, Departments of Central & State Governments and client organization was organized by J&K Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organization (ITCO) in collaboration with Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi here today.
More than 35 senior officers from allied departments of the district participated in the training programme.
Chief Executive Officer, J&K ITCO gave a detailed presentation on the selection of Consultants and Client – Consultant agreement.
During the programme, discussion was held in detail on the methods procedures of hiring consultancy services like identifying needs and goals for the proposed project, selection of consultancy, creating selection criteria, evaluation of proposals etc. Also terms like Expression of Interest (EoI), Request for proposals (RFP) were discussed in detail.

Workshop was attended by Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Project Manager DIC, Chief Education Officer, District Information Officer, Udhampur, Assistant Director, Horticulture, District Officer, KVIB, Assistant Director Fisheries, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Warder GB Hostel, Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Executive Engineer REW, AD Planning, Sr Manager, PNB, Forest Range Officer, AD Planning Health, District Statistical and Evaluation Officer etc.
