JAMMU, July 3: Criticizing the statement of National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah that merger of Jammu and Kashmir in India is temporary, Shiv Sena today said that J&K is an integral part of India and no one can separate it from India.
Leaders of J&K unit of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray under the leadership of State secretary general Manish Sahni condemned Dr Abdullah’s statement. They demanded complete removal of Article 370 and stressed that “One Constitution, One Flag” should be applicable throughout the country.
Sahni said that the merger of J&K in India is temporary as unimaginable as it is. He further said that NC base has shrunk to Kashmir only and the statement has been made by Dr Abdullah to misguide people to keep his party’s base.
On the occasion, many leaders including vice president Surjeet Singh Chib, Yashpal Khajuria, Women leader Minakshi Chhibber, Secretary Raj Singh, Vikas Bakshi, Raju Chaudhary, Sanjeev Sudan, Mangu Ram, Buri Singh, Ganesh, Youth leader Pankaj Sahni, Akshit Talwar, Renu and many others were present.
