JAMMU, Mar 25: J&K Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized a seminar on “Statutory Audit of Banks and Usage of Commands in FINACLE-7 Software”.
Parvez Ahmed, Chairman and CEO J&K Bank was the chief guest on the occasion. CA Niranjan Joshi was the guest speaker on Statutory Audit of Banks, while Mohammad Muzaffar Wani, AKS Bagee and Abha Mahajan from J&K Bank were the guest speakers on Usage of Commands in FINACLE-7 Software.
The first technical session was deliberated by CA. Niranjan Joshi, who gave a detailed presentation on Statutory Audit of Banks. He also addressed the various queries raised by the members on the subject matter.
During the second technical session, Mohammad Muzaffar Wani, AKS Bagee alongwith Abha Mahajan demonstrated with the help of live hands on session about various Commands of FINACLE-7 Software that were relevant from the point of view of Statutory Audit of Banks.
Parvez Ahmed while speaking highlighted the role of chartered accountants in the overall development of the economy. He stressed upon having further coordination between J&K Branch of ICAI and the J&K Bank for conducting more of such programs in future.
Earlier, CA Shalay Razdan, Chairman of the branch presented the welcome address and also delivered the inaugural address.
CA Nakul Saraf, Secretary of the Branch conducted the proceedings of the seminar and CA Vinay Jamwal, Treasurer of the branch presented the formal vote of thanks.
JKCASA Chairman of the branch CA Arvind Jamwal along with a large number of chartered accountants and senior officials of J&K Bank were also present on the occasion.
