JAMMU: In a major setback to the State with regard to deadwood, Jammu and Kashmir High Court at its Jammu Wing today quashed compulsory retirement order of six Government officials.
Justice Alok Aradhe of J&K decided six petitions challenging their dead-wood and compulsorily retirement and quashed the Govt orders for premature retirement of Prem Nath I/C Chief Engineer, Javed Iqbal AEE, Dr. Manoj Bhagat Supt Medical Hospital Kathua, Tarsem Lal then CEO Jammu, Padam Dev Sharma Patwari and Parshotam Kumar Sharma Village Level Worker.
The Court directed the state to reinstate the petitioners. 29 petitions were listed today and six were heard at length and decided quashing the Govt order regarding compulsorily retirement order of the employees.
Justice Alok Aradhe after hearing lawyers quashed the order of compulsorily retirement of six employees and directed the State to reinstate the petitioners and award all consequential benefits, within a period of one month from today. (AGENCIES)
