J&K Grameen Bank organizes awareness programme

SRINAGAR, Jan 15: J&K Grameen Bank under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized awareness programme on the Pradhan Mantri’s Social Security Schemes at village Wadipora, district Kupwara.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest VK Sharma, Senior Manager, MF&FI Department, J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of newly launched schemes named Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors. He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch.
Area Manager Kupwara Malik Abdul Khalik and J&K Grameen Bank FLC Baramulla Ghulam Qadir spoke at length about various bank schemes and training being imparted by them.
In the end, Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, Branch Head Handwara presented vote of thanks.
