Srinagar, June 9: J&K Grameen Bank in collaboration with NABARD, organized awareness/Financial Literacy camp on the recently launched Pradhan Mantri’s Social Security Schemes at remote village near LoC Tadd Tangdhar.
DDM NABARD Rouf Zargar, who was chief guest on the occasion, spoke at length about the various schemes of NABARD i.e., Farmer Clubs (FC’s), Self Help Groups (SHG’s) & Joint Liability Groups (JLG’s).
Speaking on the occasion, V.K. Sharma ,Sr. Manager MF&FI Deptt. J&K Grameen Bank, informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of newly launched schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana.
District Manager Kupwara, Khaliq Malik also spoke on the occasion. The said camp was attended by large number of locals besides Panchs and Sarpanchs of the area.
