Srinagar, July 10 : In a significant achievement, J&K has generated over 3 lakh Out Patient Department (OPD) tokens through the innovative Scan & Share Queue Management System. This milestone was reached in just three months since the initiative’s inception, highlighting the remarkable progress made under digital interventions in healthcare.
Officials revealed that since the launch of the facility, the total number of tokens generated through the Queue Management System has now reached an impressive 307,743. The implementation of the Scan and Share QR-based OPD registration began in April of this year, initially targeting Government Medical Colleges and Associated Hospitals during the first phase. The program was subsequently extended to include all District Hospitals in the second phase and Community Health Centers (CHCs) in the third phase.
As of Saturday, July 8, a total of 297,314 tokens were generated in the active healthcare facilities across J&K. However, the number has now risen to 307,743 by Monday, July 10.
