JAMMU, Nov 15:Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha (JKBS) has demanded CBI probe in infamous Rasana case of 2018.
Addressing a press conference, here today, JKBS President Atul Sharma appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to do justice with the aggrieved nationalist people of Jammu by ordering CBI probe in the case.
Kiran Kumar Sharma, General Secretary JKBS, said Rasana rape and murder case was a well planned conspiracy hatched with an evil intention against the spiritual and nationalist people of village Rasana, Kathua.
Kiran further said that justice was neither delivered to Asifa nor to those local people till date who are still in jail because of motivated investigation done by SIT formed by the then CM with defaulters as its member against whom Punjab and Haryana High Court has already ordered to register an FIR for false and distorted facts given in the Chargesheet.
Besides CBI inquiry, JKBS demanded fast track proceedings of the case on day to day basis to bring justice to victims at the earliest.
