Srinagar, Nov 18: Deepening its network to extend basic banking facilities to the people at their nearest possible destinations, J&K Bank today commissioned a new Automated-Teller Machine (ATM) at Sangla Chowk in Mendher. The latest addition has taken total number of Bank’s ATMs in District Poonch to 32 and across the country to 1434.
Bank’s Zonal Head Rajouri Satish Kumar inaugurated the new facility in presence of Cluster Head Poonch Aneet Kanwal Singh, local Panchayat representatives and valuable customers of the Bank.
On the occasion, Zonal Head highlighted the Bank’s leading role in economic empowerment of the people across J&K by providing them with latest banking facilities focused on digitization. He said, “The new ATM facility at Sangla Chowk Mendher is a testament to Bank’s commitment of providing latest banking facilities to people living in rural as well as urban areas.”
He urged people to make most of the banking services and facilities tailored to meet their needs besides creating self-employment for the youth.
Public representatives, locals and customers present on the inaugural function hailed Bank for providing them with hi-tech banking facilities near their doorsteps.
