JAMMU, June 20: J&K Bank Chairman RK Chhibber and Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta inaugurated Ayush Medical Camp in Rehari area here today.
Municipal Corporator, Anu Bali in collaboration with AYUSH Ministry on Saturday organized the Medical Camp in Ward No. 24, Rehari Chowk aimed to combat COVID-19.
Before commencing the medical camp, Corporator Anu Bali, JK Bank Chairman R K Chhibber and JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta including participants paid rich tributes to 20 martyred soldiers including a Commanding Officer who have sacrificed their lives for the nation in Galwan Valley of LAC falling in Ladakh. During the camp, the dignitaries and Corporator Anu Bali including doctors and Paramedical staff distributed medicines related to boosting immune system including cough syrup bottles and other medicines among people of Ward-24 and adjoining areas keeping in view of Coronavirus Pandemic.
R K Chhibber while addressing the gathering said that tomorrow, the world is celebrating International Yoga Day and we request the people of Jammu and Kashmir to take their participation in the Yoga keeping in view of health fitness. He further urged upon the people to take benefits of Ayush medicines in day today’s life till anti coronavirus virus dose is prepared.
He added that this herbal medicines are most beneficial supplimentary for people which is being intake across the globe in maintaining and streamlining immune system as far as coronavirus pandemic is concerned.
Bali while addressing the media appealed the participants and general masses to maintain social distancing and wear masks whenever visit to markets and other places which is compulsory for everyone to combat coronavirus Pandemic.
Corporator further urged upon the authorities to organize such camps in rural, far-flung areas of the Jammu region to protect the lives of people who are deprived of such facilities.
She added that UT Administration is keen to provide all medicare facilities to the people at their door steps. She appealed the people to come forward and take benefits of these welfare schemes.
Ashutosh Wali, Sanjeev Sharma, Vipul Bali, Tarun Tandon,  Sanjay Gupta,  Avinash Vohra, Kusum Sharma, Sanyogta Kapoor,  Arun Bali, Vinay Gupta and others were also present on the occasion.
