JAMMU, Apr 5: Ayurdiksha- Transitional Curriculum was organized today at Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Nardni Raipur, Bantalab Road, Jammu. Programme started with address of gathering followed by invocation by the students of institute JIAR. Chief guest Dr. Gopesh Kumar Sharma, Research Officer (Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Jammu) CCRAS, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India attended.
Welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Sharada, Principal, JIAR. Programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. An insight about college was given by Prof. Dr. Raghuvir Singh, Director Academics, JIAR.
He gave information regarding career options in Ayurveda.
Chairperson Suman Sharma, Managing Director(s) Ritesh Sharma and Ravish Sharma, CEO(s) Jaapna Sharma and Jasudha Sharma, Director Academics Dr. Raghuvir Singh, Principal Dr. Sharada Sharma, Vice Principal Dr. Nitin Mahajan, Professor Dr. Twinkle Gupta, Professor Dr. Sudesh Gupta and Professor Dr. Shailej Gupta were present.
Presidential address was delivered by the Chairperson, Shri Sain Charitable Trust for higher education, Jammu, Suman Sharma.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Professor, Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa, JIAR Dr. Twinkle Gupta. The function ended with the interactive session with parents and students.
