JAMMU, Mar 19: Jetking Infotrain Ltd organized a two day practical workshop on computer networking and hardware for Polytechnic students at IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo.
Dharinder Singh and Sumit Kumar, Sr. Faculty members from Jetking conducted practical session for the students wherein the students were taught different networking techniques and were introduced to new networking tools and supplies.
The students were also apprised by Naveen Sharma, Director, Jetking about emerging technologies in IT sector.
The workshop was followed by personality development session by Priya Raina, HR Manager Jetking and it (personality development) included different aspects like preparing students to face job interviews with special focus on communication skills, body language and resume making.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Jamwal, Dean Adm-cum-Training and Placement, IECS Polytechnic asserted that such kind of workshop provides overall exposure to the students and make them more compatible with today’s industrial requirements.
Prof. K.G Gupta, Principal IECS also spoke on the occasion while Amit Sharma, Vice Principal-cum-HoD Computer Dept presented vote of thanks.
