JAMMU, June 9: The Enforcement Wing of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) removed the encroachment and retrieved six kanals of prime land belonging to it at village Toph-Sherkhania, Jammu and fenced the same after installing the sign board of JDA. The Jammu Development Authority has intensified the anti encroachment drive to retrieve the land belonging to it.
As per a handout issued by JDA here today on the directions of Vice Chairman of the organisation, its Enforcement Wing under the supervision of Vinay Samotra Secretary/ DLM, JDA, comprising of Revenue/Enforcement Wing, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer Narinder Singh, Tehsildar JDA Zone-A, Tarsem Lal, Pankaj Singh Sambyal Khilafwarzi Officer, Khilafwarzi Inspector’s Parshotam Kumar, Rajinder Singh Choudhary, Shabaz Mugal, Sanjeev Kumar, Mohd Sahid & Deeraj Kumar Patwari & field staff took part in the day long anti encroachment drive, removed the encroachment instantly and Engineering Wing of JDA fenced the land by erecting RCC poles & barbed wire fencing.
JDA has warned the trespassers & encroachers to desist from trespassing the JDA land and further convey that strict action shall be taken against the violators including demolition and registration of FIR.
