JCC, JWC warn agitation

JAMMU, Apr 28: Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) has urged the Government to take immediate steps for the redressal of long pending demands of migrants and warned agitation in case ration was not supplied within two days.
The JCC president, Ravi Zutshi while addressing a meeting today demanded permanent rehabilitation of displaced Pandits at one place in the Valley with all facilities. He demanded restoration of all rights to the community with employment package to the youth and soft loans to over aged people for starting their own business.
Meanwhile Jagti Welfare Committee held a protest demonstration in the Jagti township for delaying tactics adopted by the authorities in issuance of ration. The JWC said that many families are at the verge of starvation as ration has not been supplied for last three months.
Kuldeep Razdhan, Deepak Jad, Chand Ji Handoo and Vijay Kaul warned agitation in case the ration was not issued within two days.
JCC also informed that it has kept available all arrangements for performance of last rites at Cremation Ground Jagti township and instead of visiting Jammu the Samgri can be available in the township itself.
