JCC discusses problems of Jagti inmates

JAMMU, Jan 16: Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) in its meeting here today, held under the chairmanship of Ravi Zutshi discussed most burning issues of the inmates of Jagti township.
The meeting said that it was the duty of the State Government to provide basic amenities to the migrants which include proper power and water supply, ration transport, medicare and schooling facilities etc.
It urged the State Government to provide employment to unemployed youth of the community and rehabilitate the over aged youth by providing them one- time compensation. Besides, they be provided soft loans for starting their business ventures to feed themselves.
The meeting demanded immediate construction of shopping complex at Jagti as promised. It expressed its full support to the shopkeepers demand in this regard. The meeting accused the Government of neglecting the community. Sanjay Raina, Bansi Lal Koul, Bushan Lal Raina and others attended the meeting.
