JAMMU, Feb 13: The employees’ Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) today decided to defer its two day schedule strike on February 14 and 15.
The decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of employees’ leaders, held today under the chairmanship of Rayaz Ahmed Sufi and Dev Anand Gill.
“In view of holidays, we have decided to call off the strike for now. We will meet again to decide future course of action keeping in view the overall situation in the State”, said Dev Anand Gill.
Among other leaders, the meeting was attended by Abdul Qayoom Wani, Balwinder Singh, Darminder Singh, Ravi Bahu, Shazadi Gill, Amreek Singh, Kulwant Singh, B S Pinka and R S Sharma.
