LOS ANGELES, Aug 1: Rapper Jay Z reportedly wants to cut ties with Tidal as he never got the money he expected to earn from the streaming company.
The rap mogul is trying to leave the company, which he co-owns with a string of A-listers like Madonna, Rihanna, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and more, reported Aceshowbiz.
Tidal has been facing a lot of problems in terms of criticism over its high price point and a USD 50 million lawsuit filed against it by Cash Money.
The label sued the company after another Tidal co-owner Lil Wayne, who has been feuding with Birdman over the delay of “Tha Carter V”, dropped his “Free Weezy Album” exclusively on the service. (PTI)
