NOWSHERA, July 17: An Army jawan was injured in an accidental fire at a forward location in Nowshera area of district Rajouri last evening.
The incident took place when the jawan was patrolling along the LOC near Bahadur post. Identified as Sepoy Vikram Singh, he suddenly slipped and fell down. His Insas gun went off and a bullet hit his foot. He was removed to nearby unit hospital and later referred to Military Hospital, Rajouri.
