RAJOURI, Aug 31: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan collapsed during drill and later died in hospital at Sunderbani today.
Official sources said that Constable, General Duty, Rakesh Kumar of 69 Battalion (Company G) BSF, posted in Sunderbani area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri, fell down on the ground during drill in the Unit premises at around 8.30 am.
The jawan was rushed to Sunderbani hospital by the colleagues where he was declared as dead. The doctor suspected that death might have caused due to sudden cardiac arrest. After postmortem, the body of the jawan was sent to his native place, Pathankote.
