AYODHYA (UP), Apr 6 : The Janmotsav of Lord Ram Lalla, seated in a grand and divine temple in the city of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, Ayodhya, was celebrated with great pomp, with Surya Tilak being the major attraction on Sunday.
The Janmotsav of Shri Ram Lalla was celebrated with great pomp in the grand and divine Ram temple. Exactly at noon, Ram Lalla was bathed with milk and then adorned with new clothes. Ram Lalla was given Tilak and Abhishek with the rays of Lord Sun by the scientists.
On the birth of Ram Lalla, congratulations and Sohar songs started in the temples of Ayodhya with crackers bursting at various places. Shri Ram Lalla appeared amidst the sound of bells, gongs, and the applause of conches.
After that, the entire atmosphere reverberated with the name of Lord Shri Ram. On this occasion, the series of congratulations, Sohar songs, and distribution of Prasad continued. The entire city of Ayodhya has been decorated like a bride.
From eunuchs, sadhus, to all the devotees are immersed in the joy of the Janmotsav. People of the eunuch community went to the monastery and temples asking for gifts and offerings from the Mahants.
District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh said that in the Ram Navami lakhs of devotees visited various temples and offered prayers along with Ram Lalla’s Janmotsav. Chaitra Ram Navami fair was divided into ten sectors.
There are also extensive security arrangements in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi area. Preparations for Shri Ram Lalla Janmotsav were going on at a war level for the last week. In the Ram Navami fair, Panjiri, buckwheat, and water chestnut flour, and Ramdana were offered, which were distributed among the devotees.
Apart from the temple of Ram Lalla seated on Shri Ramjanmabhoomi, a large number of LEDs have been installed by Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust outside the city and municipal corporation area perimeter. The Janmotsav was streamed live in about 121 small and big temples.
