JAMMU, Aug 5: All Jandial Sabha organized a one-day multi-superspeciality medical camp at Baba Sahej Nath ji Devsthan at Gol Pulley, here today.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Justice (retd) K K Gupta, patron-in-chief of All Jandial Sabha, in presence of MLA Rajesh Gupta, Raman Gupta (president of the Sabha), Advocate Rattan Lal Gupta (vice president of NC), IC Jandial, KB Jandial and prominent members of Jandial Biradari.
About 100 patients were treated during the camp including some critical cases by a team of super specialists of Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon. The team of the specialists comprised of Dr S K Taneja (Cardiologist), Dr Arvind Sharma (Internal Medicine), Dr Harbinder Singh (Orthopaedic) and Dr Monika Kudyar (Pain Management). A team of technicians assisted the doctors at the camp. Free Diagnostic tests like ECG, PFT, Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar were also conducted on almost all the registered patients.
Organizing team of Medanta Hospital Gurgaon, comprising Sudanshu Sharma (senior marketing officer and Ashutosh Gupta (marketing officer) were also present on the occasion to supervise the camp.
All Jandial Sabha has already entered into an MoU with Medanta-the Medicity Gurgaon under which any member of Jandial Biradari availing treatment at Medanta Hospital Gurgaon shall be entitled to 15 percent discount, besides preferential treatment. The discount of 15 percent shall be applicable on medicines required in treatment of critical cases. Discount will also be applicable on OPD and Radiology.
In the end, mementos were also presented to visiting doctors and other participants by the patron in-chief of the Sabha. A memento was also presented to KK Gupta for his greatest contribution to the Biradari.
