Jammu’s Anmol wins Mister Teen Globe International title

JAMMU, Aug 9: Son of the soil, Anmol Sharma has won the prestigious Mister Teen Globe International title, a male beauty pageant run by the Mister Globe Organization for boys aged 14-19.
A resident of Jammu, Anmol Sharma represented India in the international event, which was recently held at Shangri-La’s Tg Aru Resort & Spa, Malaysia. In grand finale of the competition, there were representatives from 11 countries, including Malaysia, Borneo, Indonesia, India, Northern Philip-pines, Middle East Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Srilanka, Nepal and Japan.
By clinching the title of Mister Teen Globe International, Anmol Sharma has won prize worth RM 50,000 and full scholarship from Kiara College worth of RM 30000, besides world tour.
On his arrival at home town Jammu after winning the prestigious title, Anmol Sharma was accorded a rousing reception by his fans and prominent citizens. From Airport Jammu, he was received in a form of procession and then taken to Hotel John Park where a grand function was held in his honors.
Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta was chief guest on the occasion while President of JKMEF and Member Pharmacy Council of India, Sushil Sudan was the guest of honour. Anmol was accompanied by his National Director, Akshay Kitri Raichurkar.
Speaking on the occasion, Chander Mohan Gupta said that it was a matter of pride that a Jammu youth has won such a prestigious title and thus brought name and fame not only to Jammu or the State but entire country. He further said that if given an opportunity, Jammu youth are not less than any other in entire world. Sushil Sudan also said that it is a matter of pride and the State Government should encourage such talented youth of Jammu Kashmir.
