Jammu Sculptor participates in Int Event

JAMMU, Nov 17: Jasleen Singh, a well known young artist of Jammu participated in international sculpture symposium titled ‘Reviving Humanity Memorial’, at Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt during October and November.
72 out of select 195 artists from all over the world participated in the first phase of the event organized by World Youth Forum, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The symposium started on Oct 15. Every artist was to create sculpture on the theme of Human Hearts, to revive with their art the humanity.
It is pertinent to mention here that Jasleen is son of late Gobind Kaur, the 1st Contemporary Sculptor of J&K State and Jang S. Verman, Senior Painter & Columnist on Art & Culture.
The symposium was organized to pay tribute to those who have lost their lives defending a noble purpose.
