JAMMU, Dec 7: The Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist London has awarded Dr Harpreet Kour Ishar, Associate Professor Obs and Gynae at Gian Sagar Medical College, with the prestigious Vijaya Patil Prize Medal for this year.
She has also been conferred with membership of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) London.
This award is given to an overseas candidate for topping the MRCOG examination, which is considered as one of the toughest examinations for specialists.
Dr Ishar is a graduate from Government Medical College Jammu and was awarded Nikhil Baru Gold Medal during her MBBS. She did her PG in Obs and Gyn from the same college.
