Jammu boy’s death in UK: Jitendra assures return of mortal remains to family

JAMMU, May 17: As a young boy of village RS Pura in Jammu district was found dead on May 14 at a South Hall hotel in United Kingdom, Union Minister in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh today talked to Indian embassy in UK for facilitating the process of return of mortal remains of the deceased to his family in Jammu.
According to the reports, Sushil Choudhary of Patyal Brahmana (RS Pura, Jammu) was found dead at a hotel in UK on May 14. The family members of the deceased boy had appealed Dr Jitendra to help family in bringing back the mortal remains of the boy.
In response to the appeal of the family, Dr Jitendra today talked to Indian embassy in UK and is in continuous touch with the Indian High Commissioner in London who is personally ensuring that the process of return of mortal remains is expedited.
“Regarding Sushil Choudhary, the #Jammu boy who was found unfortunately dead in a South Hall Hotel in UK, soon after I was informed, I have immediately taken up the matter with the Indian Embassy in London. I am in continuous touch with the Indian High Commissioner in London, Smt Gayatri Ji, who is personally ensuring that the process of return of mortal remains is expedited as fast as possible. While expressing all my sympathies, I request the parents and family members of Sushil to have patience in the hour of trial,” the MoS PMO said in a tweet this evening.
