Jammu boy chosen as ambassador for IAAC-2020

JAMMU, Mar 8: Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardee Onkar Singh from Jammu has been chosen as the Ambassador to represent India in International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC) 2020, which is the biggest online astronomy and astrophysics contest in the world.
IAAC enables the students interested in astronomy to participate and show out their skills in their home comfort. IAAC is divided into three rounds – Qualification round, Pre-Final round and then Final round accordingly. There is no registration fee for participation in the Qualification round. So, all the interested may participate in the contest.
The interested student should be at least 10 years old to participate in the competition. However, there is no upper age limit for the participation. Last date for registration is April 17, 2020. The interested candidates may visit www.iaac.space for more information.
