JAMMU, Mar 8: Bishnah police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 50 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
“A police party of police station Bishnah led by SI Yash Paul apprehended one person namely Sunil Kumar son of Raj Kumar, resident of village Dablehar, tehsil RS Pura when he was selling JK Special Whisky (Country made liquor) to the customers at village Chak Hasal, Bishnah,” a police official said.
He said 50 bottles (180 ml each) have been recovered from his possession. “One motorcycle (Bajaj Platina) has also been seized. In this connection, a case FIR Number 42/2020 U/S 48 Excise Act has been registered at police station Bishnah,” the official said.
