JAMMU, May 25: Expressing grave concern over unabated killing of people on the borders, the Team Jammu today regretted that residents of Jammu region have become victim of the ‘political ceasefire’ announced by the BJP led NDA Government at the Centre to keep coalition partner PDP and anti-India separatist groups of Kashmir valley in good humour.
Addressing a meeting of the executive committee members of the Team Jammu to review situation on the borders, Chairman of Team Jammu Zorawar Singh Jamwal observed that on-going blood-bath on the borders of Jammu region has authenticated the allegation that BJP led Government at the Centre has made this region as laboratory of its ‘political experiments’ to appease Kashmir centric groups, be it mainstreams parties or separatists groups.
“It is result of the unilateral ceasefire that Pakistan has started shelling border areas of Jammu district because Rangers are very much aware that hands of their counterparts in India have been tied by the political leadership”, he claimed.
Meanwhile, volunteers of Team Jammu today visited firing affected border areas in R S Pura belt, Glad and Banglad belts of district Samba and interacted with border migrants.
