JAMMU, Oct 3: The protest of All Jammu Based Reserve Category Employees’ Association for suitable comprehensive transfer policy entered 125th day, here at Ambedkar Chowk.
Jammu based reserved category employees have been protesting peacefully for last 125 days to meet their demand of transfer policy. They are following the path of non violence as propounded by Mahatma Gandhi and they bank on LG Administration that their genuine demand will be addressed very soon.
On upcoming visit of Home Minister Amit Shah, they expressed optimism that Amit Shah will intervene in the matter of transfer policy of Jammu based reserved category employees working in Kashmir Division and hopefully LG Administration will redress this long pending demand of Dogra employees.
They said Prime Minister Narendra Modi always say that ‘Jaan Hai To Jahan Hai’ and they are just acting on words of their great Prime Minister and struggling at Ambedkar Chowk to save their lives to safeguard their fundamental right i.e. Right to Life guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
The protesting employees further added that some DDOs in Kashmir especially of Rural Development Department, Forest Department and Health Department are forcing the employees to resume their duties and threatened strict action despite of continuous target killing of minorities and policemen.
Stating that these DDOs have stopped the salaries of minority employees, the Association members demanded strict action against them for bothering these victimized minority employees.
