JAMMU, July 20: JAKFED employees held a protest demonstration here,today against the failure of authorities to release their salaries of last eleven months.
Addressing the protestors the JAKFED Union leaders warned to intensify agitation and come to streets in case their salaries were not released immediately.
The protesters said that maximum employees are on the verge of starvation as they have no money to purchase the ration to keep their body and soul together. They expressed serious concern over the attitude of the Government on their plight and said that despite making repeated pleas during last 11 months the authorities paid no heed in releasing their salaries.
The protesting employees said that they have no money to pay the school fee of their children or get them admitted in the new classes after the declaration of results of 10th and 12th classes recently as all employees are without money.
The protesting employees even made an appeal to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and sought his immediate intervention in providing justice to them. They said non payment of earned wages to the employees tantamount to human rights violation and grave injustice which can’t be tolerated at all.
