Jaish commander arrested in north Kashmir

SRINAGAR :  A self-styled Divisional Commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) was arrested by security forces in apple township of Sopore, a police spokesman said here this  afternoon.
He said on a specific information of Srinagar police regarding the presence of top JeM commander in Yumberzalwari, forests at Bomie Sopore, a joint operation was launched by  Police, 27 Rashtriy Rifles (RR) and CRPF 179 batallion in the area.
During the operation a top militant of JeM outfit Sadeeq Ahmad alias Sadiq resident of  Haripore Khyber Pakhtoon Khan, Pakistan was arrested.
He said one AK rifle, two magazines and 70 rounds of ammunition and a pouch were recovered from him. (AGENCIES)
